Realme Buds 2 wired review : Best budget earphone under 600 Rs ?

Realme buds 2 a earphone heard/used by anyone who is on a very aggressive budget. Now people who are not very particular about the sound or don’t know much about various things to consider while buying a nice budget earphones have generally a budget of 500 - 600Rs which is a very decent range for a normal earphone user without having any particular requirement.

Realme has targeted this price point and did a very good job of doing this I must say……

This earphone has many good as well as annoying things that you must see before buying.This might help you with making a calculated decision while thinking about making this purchase.

Realme Buds 2 wired earphones  Launch Date:

Realme Buds 2 was made available to the general public on 4th September 2019 from the official relame site but now various eCommerce sites are selling them like amazon, flipkart, paytm etc.

Physical Overview :

• The earphones are made a bit angular as opposed to its previous generation of relame buds. The only benefit is that now you’ll be wearing earphones in the right ears and also fits great due to which there is passive noise-cancellation.

• The main body of the earphones feels strong and sturdy.With a mat balck finish covering the major part of the body and rest of the angular part is covered with the glossy black finish. It has a nice feel to it and none of them have any finger print tendency. 

• The eartips are made of soft silicon material which are standard ones having translucent black body with a yellow bottom stock. 2 Extra pairs of eartips are included in the box. Large and small sizes and the medium ones are already attached to the earphones.

• There is a long control box on the right ear cable. There are volume rockers and a music pause/play or call drop multipurpose button on it in the middle. Plastic body with colored +/- signs for some extra attractive look and help.

• Coming down to the cables , the wired realme buds 2 have around 70% braided cables and the rest 30% are the new improved textured TPU cables which are made strong and a huge improvement form the previous relame buds where the cable was not that sturdy. Also has a sturdy Y-splitter. Due to this we can have a tangle free earphone.

• There is also a cable organizer at the end for systematic arrangement or placement of the earphone in a better way. The material is soft silicon with realme branding.

• The audio jack is a standard 3.5mm straight audio plug connector without a gold plating.

Performance Review:

As far as the performance goes Realme Buds 2 delivers and does quite good in the audio department as it does in the looks and build section.It has a deep base all thanks to the 11.2mm bass boost driver and enables us to get more punchy sounds and it really excels in the bass driven songs where bass is the major component.However this doesn't mean that rest of the vitals of a music are not good. These earphones deliver nice treble, they are clear and sharp and also have a nice pitch. Also to note that these earphones are really LOUD in fact I bet most of you all would be listening to your songs, videos, audio books etc at just 35 - 45% of the total volume limit.

But there are some places which are quite prominent where the Realme buds 2 can improve. Like sometimes the earphones bass get confused with other sound vitals creating a  minor confusion. Some light instruments are not heard best in such high bass earphones. But these are just some nit-picks which can be forgiven after you look at the price point at which this ear phone is offered!!

This has become the go to budget earphones for many people who are not that much into music but require a good loud earphones with some decent music and built quality.

Some Annoying points :

• The 3.5 mm audio connector is so snug fit that if you want to take it out then your fingers generally slip off leaving you to try it once again or just pull it out by pulling the cable as whole.

• The magnetic heads sometimes cause you to get confused by just clicking together at different positions.

• Sometimes very rarely the earphones tend to fall out of your ears if you move around too much.

Conclusion Buy OR Not Buy ?

I think Realme Buds 2 Wired Earphones earphone is really good not only because of the various features that it offers but also because of the price at which it is placed. And remember all the points that are not in favor of the earphones are just some nit-picks and nothing more than that because The realme buds 2 has  some great potential at the sweet below 600Rs price range as this is mostly favored by a lot of people and they are truly getting a nice premium looking and feeling earphone with good audio performance which is possibly great at this price no complaints from my side.
